Physician Assistant PA Club

Chartered in 2001, the Physician Assistant Club brings unity, availability of community service, socialization and awareness of the PA profession to undergraduate students enrolled in the pre-professional physician assistant program and other students interested in pursuing the PA career.

Since its inception, the club has provided a monthly student newsletter that includes current affairs in the PA world, both educational and political. The club offers a mentoring program to incoming freshmen to help ease the transition into a new university environment and rigorous program. The club also provides members with study nights prior to major exams and study help in general to any student who may be struggling in their academics.

PA Club students are kept aware of community service and volunteer events and are encouraged to participate regularly. The PA Club chooses a local charity for each academic year and then raises both funds and community awareness for the chosen charity during the year—culminating in a club-hosted celebration and check presentation.

An elected board holds bi-weekly meetings to update club members on events, progress and awareness. All students interested in the PA profession are welcome to join for nominal dues.
